Remember when mom told you, "clean up your plate...there are children starving somewhere in the world". Maybe this is one of the reasons why we have an obesity problem in the country. (Sorry Mom....I know she will read this).
If you do not finish those last three spoonfuls of food on your plate; these three spoonfuls become nine less spoonfuls per day and "do the math"....that is what? Something like 60 plus (I found my calculator; 63 spoonfuls) spoons full of calories per week. That is nearly one less meal per week. This is what I do with my dog; I fill the cup to the level suggested by the dogfood producer and then pluck a few bites out and put these back in the bin. My veterinarian always gives me the thumbs up...no overweight dog here.
If you eat 18 healthy meals per week...you can have a little fun for the other three.
and remember.....you only need to exercise on the days you eat
